LeChateau Earl Records Celebrates Black Music Month Featuring Damien Sneed's arrangement of “Am
In Damien Sneed's words: On October 31, 2011 Metropolitan Opera star Marcello Giordani hosted a fundraising gala and concert with the Marcello Giordani Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assist and support promising young opera singers. The foundation, founded by Giordani, was created to encourage and enable talented young singers from around the world to pursue and achieve their career goals and transition onto the professional opera stage. The concert and reception took place on October 31st, 2011, at the Merkin Concert Hall in Manhattan. Under the guidance of Marcello Giordani, the Foundation establishes, organizes and sponsors master classes, seminars, and summer programs in the U.S. and abroad, as well as provides encouragement, training opportunities, career assistance and financial support, including scholarships and awards to promising and talented young singers.
